Michelle Ferrell is a licensed clinical psychologist (PsyD) in the state of Georgia, USA. She obtained her master's and doctorate training at Regent University, an APA (American Psychological Association) accredited program. She completed her APA accredited internship at the University of South Carolina Counseling & Psychiatry and two-year neuropsychology postdoctoral fellowship in Augusta, Georgia. She is competent in providing counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She sees clients from ages 3 – 65+ but has specialized training with children, teens, and young adults.

Dr. Ferrell utilizes an integrated approach to counseling, seeking to support emotional, cognitive, physical, relational, and spiritual wellness. She comes from an attachment-focused developmental perspective, understanding that problems do not exist in a vacuum, and viewing individuals in the context of their family and cultural systems. She pulls from a variety of treatment modalities based on the age and presenting problems of the client, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, attachment-focused, and emotion-focused therapy. For children and adolescents, Dr. Ferrell offers parent training and coaching, play therapy informed counseling, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) services, depending on the needs of the family.

Please note that for clients within Germany, Dr. Ferrell provides psychological counseling only, and does not provide psychotherapy or treatment for any specific mental illness. She is currently accepting clients from the Stuttgart, Kaiserslautern, Ramstein-Miesenbach, Baumholder, and surrounding areas of Germany.
