Robert is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Mental Health Counseling. He values health and wholeness, cultivating resilience to face the challenges of 21 st century
living.

Each person’s journey to invest in their well-being is unique, with the greatest growth often coming after difficulties…which are faced with courage and resolve. Robert seeks to attend to each client’s “problems with living”, enhancing one’s strengths to enable flourishing in daily life and movement toward greater self-efficacy. Individuals, couples, and families can proceed at their own pace, with balance given to exploration of issues, collaboration, goal setting, and evaluation of progress.

Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Robert is the son of immigrants and has a rich background of understanding of cross-cultural issues relating to ethnicity and spirituality. Having worked in the corporate world sourcing project proposals from international NGO’s for donor clients, Robert immersed himself in understanding the needs of the global south. While transitioning to matters of soul care after completing his graduate studies, Robert worked in crisis counseling in a hospital emergency room. He also lived and worked overseas, serving students and parents in school settings in Hungary and Morocco, most recently as a school counselor at an international school in Casablanca.

Robert enjoys experiencing the vibe of local daily life in different parts of the world, including the Philippines, where his wife hails from, and putting down roots where he is planted.
