 Accepting new clients

Deborah holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University, which is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). She is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) in Canada.

Deborah offers talk therapy where she helps clients address issues that may be standing in their way, and explore new possibilities to move forward on life’s journey. She provides a trusted counseling relationship, creating a safe and compassionate space that encourages the sharing and insight foundational for healing, growth, and transformation.

After agreeing on the topics you would like to address in your initial sessions, Deborah works collaboratively with clients to formulate goals and develop a step-by-step plan to get there. She adopts a holistic and integrated therapeutic perspective, selecting evidence-based techniques that best suit each client's situation, values, culture, and objectives.

Deborah brings professional maturity and counseling competence to her private practice. After transitioning from a communications consulting career that started in Toronto, and took her to Paris, Budapest, Frankfurt, London, and New York, her search for deeper meaning led her to shift her career to helping individuals, couples, and families thrive. Deborah recognizes that counseling is an ongoing learning process, and continues to expand her experience with exposure to different supervisors and modalities. Since completing her master's degree, she has completed several additional trainings that enhance her counseling practice.

Deborah warmly invites individuals, couples, and families on a journey of self-awareness that will leverage your strengths so that you can achieve greater resilience.
