Individual & Couple’s Therapy
After a successful international marketing and communications career serving Fortune 1000 companies, Deborah retrained as a psychotherapist. She brings maturity, extensive training, and enthusiasm to her practice, combining a compassionate understanding of human nature with proven methodologies designed to help individuals and couples achieve their therapeutic goals.

Empathy encourages sharing.
Compassion supports healing.
Behavioral experimentation facilitates change.
-Deborah Dennis, 2023

Fundamental to Deborah’s approach is a belief that we all show up the best we can at any given time and that solutions to life’s challenges are never black & white.
When we get stuck, we are usually missing some form of insight, and are behaving in pre-conditioned patterns, some healthier than others. Growth and transformation require a safe space for reflection, a strong client-therapist relationship, and a willingness to explore new behaviours and skills.

An Integrative Approach
After a thorough intake, Deborah works collaboratively with individuals and couples to crystallize goals, and to develop a treatment plan using evidence-based techniques that best suit their needs, values, and culture. She continually “checks-in” to see if her clients are on-plan or whether adjustments need to be made.
Her goal is to create an environment that is conducive to active exploration, healing, and change.
