About Adia
Individual Counseling
Individual counseling with Adia is a space where you can show up as you are without pressure to have everything figured out. Together, you’ll take time and make sense of what you’re feeling, and begin to understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Adia brings a calm, supportive presence while also helping you gently challenge what’s no longer working, offering practical tools and insight along the way.
Couples Counseling
Couples counseling is focused on helping both partners feel heard, understood, and more connected. Adia works with couples to improve communication, navigate conflict, and rebuild trust where it’s been strained. Having been married for 18 years, she understands firsthand that relationships go through seasons, some harder than others, and brings both professional experience and personal insight into this work. She has a genuine heart for supporting couples as they strengthen their relationship and move forward with greater clarity and connection.
Approach to Counseling
Adia approaches counseling with a steady and thoughtful presence, allowing space for clients to slow down and explore what’s beneath the surface. She believes meaningful change comes through understanding, honesty, and a willingness to look at patterns with curiosity rather than judgment. Her role is to support, guide, and offer insight while walking alongside clients in the process.
Her faith is an important part of who she is and naturally informs the care she provides. For clients who are open to it, this can include a faith-based perspective woven into the work. At the same time, she honors each client’s individual beliefs and ensures the space remains respectful and centered on their needs.
Adia is committed to ongoing growth as a counselor and regularly engages in continued
education, supervision, and professional development. She stays current with evidence-based practices and emerging approaches in counseling to ensure her work remains thoughtful, informed, and effective.
