Psychological Life Counselor
About Issa
Issarabee Alsayeh is a psychological counselor and pastoral caregiver with a particular interest in cross-cultural relationships, migration, identity and belonging, and life transitions. Born and raised in Bethlehem and having moved to Germany for his education, he brings personal and professional experience of navigating different cultures and building a sense of belonging in a new environment.
Individual Counseling
Issarabee offers individual counseling as a confidential space for people to pause, reflect, and explore what is currently challenging them. He supports clients through life transitions, questions of identity and belonging, migration and cultural adjustment, relationship concerns, personal development, and questions of faith and meaning. His aim is to help clients gain clarity, recognize their resources, and develop new perspectives and practical steps forward.
Couples and Family Counseling
Issa also works with couples and families who want to better understand one another, improve communication, and work through recurring conflicts and relationship challenges. His areas of focus include premarital preparation, marriage conflicts, intercultural relationships, and questions around family life, roles, values, and expectations. He helps clients explore the patterns within their relationships and discover new ways of connecting and moving forward together.
Approach
Issa uses an integrative, systemic and resource-oriented approach, drawing on approaches such as CBT, ACT and systemic counselling. He looks at the wider context of a person’s life—including relationships, family, culture, values and personal strengths—to help clients develop greater understanding and practical steps toward change.
Issa's Christian faith is an important part of his perspective, but counselling is open to people of all backgrounds and beliefs. When desired, faith, spirituality, Scripture and prayer can be integrated into the counseling process.
Issa offers sessions in a quiet, private room in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. See map
