Fees and Insurance
We understand that fees and insurance are important considerations when choosing a practitioner. The information below provides a general overview of fee ranges and possible insurance reimbursement.
Our practitioners bring a range of clinical experience, professional credentials, and advanced specialist training. Individual fees reflect these differences and may also vary according to where the practitioner is based and the length of the session.

Master’s-Qualified Practitioners
These practitioners hold master’s degrees in counseling, psychology, or a closely related field. Some are pursuing professional licensure, advanced certification, or additional psychotherapy training.

These are general ranges for individual sessions. Fees for couples, families, extended sessions, and specialized services may differ. Some practitioners may also offer a limited number of reduced-fee appointments.
Licensure, professional registration, and authorization to practice psychotherapy vary by country and are detailed on each practitioner’s profile.
Each practitioner is self-employed and manages their own fees, invoicing, and insurance arrangements. For specific fees and availability, please contact your chosen therapist directly through their profile page.
Insurance
Services are generally not covered by German public health insurance (gesetzliche Krankenversicherung).
However, many private international and U.S.-based insurance plans may reimburse a portion or the full cost of counseling services. Because coverage varies by provider and individual policy, we recommend contacting your insurance company directly to confirm your mental health benefits and reimbursement options.
You may wish to ask your insurance provider:
-
Do my benefits include outpatient mental health counseling?
-
Do I have out-of-network coverage?
-
What percentage of the session fee is reimbursed?
-
Is a referral required?
-
What documentation is needed for reimbursement?
Therapists can provide invoices and supporting documentation upon request to assist with reimbursement claims.
Tricare
Our therapists are not currently authorized Tricare providers. However, some clients using Tricare Select may be eligible for partial reimbursement of counseling services. Coverage policies can vary, so we recommend contacting Tricare directly to verify your eligibility, benefits, and reimbursement requirements.
